From Learning to Leading - In the World.

In recent years, there has been a growing demand in society for. individuals who can address diverse and complex challenges, analyze data to derive meaningful insights and create value, and apply data science and digital transformation to solve regional issues.
In response to these societal needs, our School of Economics at the University of Toyama has reorganized its structure from a three-department system into a single Department of Economics and Business Administration starting from the 2024 academic year.
Under one unified department, students will continue to study across the fields of economics, business administration, and law. Additionally, the faculty will offer three specialized programs—Public Policy, Business Administration, and Economic Data Science—to more effectively educate individuals who can contribute to society.
